A Study of Impermanence

We do this thing: an uncertain waltz of hearts quickly colliding and casting off. As we glide past one another, trading our broken bits and like souvenirs from trips to foreign towns, we search for the pieces that will make us whole or maybe even more than. We leap, hearts full of hope for a graceful collaboration, but are more commonly left spinning in the wake of final bows.

Through this repetitive and stilted dance we’ve become scholars, adept at the study of our hearts’ impermanence.
