The Felling of Me

While my roots were soft and structure weak, you held me. In kind words, in calming stories, in the sharing of pains and broken parts. In this grasping for feeling, attachment, meaning we pried hearts wide and into you I tumbled. Like the purposeful felling of a tree, you orchestrated the felling of me.
